It's time to...

Share our stories.

Find acceptance and healing.

Connect with community.

Envision your next steps.

Welcome to the Childless Collective Summit.

In March of 2021, we came together for a 4-day virtual event, featuring 28 speakers, all focused on topics related to being childless not by choice. I know how hard it can be to find support and resources when you are designing an unexpectedly childfree life. That’s why I decided to bring all my favorite voices together for this one of a kind event. It’s the event I wish I’d had when I was trying to envision my life without kids.

As Jody Day says, “The room called childlessness has many doors.” Our stories are unique, but no matter where you’re at in your journey or how you got here, this summit will provide you with resources and support to take the next steps. I’ve brought together speakers from all over the world to assure you that, while your life may not look the way you’d planned, it can still be filled with joy, love, meaning, and fulfillment.

Dates for the 2022 Childless Collective Summit will be announced later this year.

What attendees said...

"This event was truly life-changing. Hearing people speak about our shared experience and share language and frameworks for how to talk about and process them will help me for years to come."
"I was really nervous to attend the summit in fear of letting my grief flood gates open and not being able to control it, but it is set up in such a way for you to go at your own pace."
"As far as I can remember, this is absolutely the best, most valuable and most resourceful conference that I have ever attended, on any topic."

The presentations focus on four themes...

Day One

Sharing Our Stories

Day Two

Finding Healing

Day Three

Making Connections

Day Four

Looking Ahead

and included 28 speakers.

"This summit is honestly amazing! Only in my dreams did support like this exist."
"Don't be scared! You will feel relieved, positive and supported by this event - it's not a celebration of the struggle we have/are going through, but a celebration of the women we are and the amazing new lives and adventures we are going to start."
"The Childless Collective Summit did the hard part of finding the resources for navigating a childless life for me.

It can feel overwhelming to start an unexpected journey and this summit connected me with tools that I need but don't always know how to get."

Meet Your Host

Hey there, I'm Katy (she/her) and I'm designing an unexpectedly childfree life after infertility. I know how challenging it can be to find support when your dreams of parenthood don't work out. It can feel isolating, like you're the only one in the world who's going through it.

After my hysterectomy in 2017, I started Chasing Creation to provide support, resources and community for those who are also involuntarily childless. In addition to the Childless Collective Summit, I offer: a monthly, virtual Childless Support Circle; monthly Childless Chat Webinars with special guests; and online workshops.

I hold a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia, with an emphasis in community empowerment and program development.
